Jonny “The Ferret” Clayton – More Than a Nickname

Nicknamed “The Ferret” from his nimble days in amateur rugby, Jonny Clayton joined the PDC Tour in 2015 and quickly proved himself a serious contender. Born in Pontyberem, Wales, on October 4, 1974, he found his passion for darts at 21 and hasn’t looked back since.

Career Highlights
Clayton’s breakthrough came in 2020 with a World Cup of Darts win alongside Gerwyn Price. The following year was phenomenal – four major titles, including the Premier League, World Grand Prix, Masters, and World Series of Darts Finals. He reclaimed the World Cup crown with Price in 2023 and remains a fixture in the PDC’s top rankings.
